The club is closing for the summer months and we will start our regular meetings again in September. We will however be taking part in the St Jean Baptiste festivities on June 24th. They wil be held in the Central Park on 13th Avenue from 12.00 to 6:00 PM. The Leos will be selling hotdogs, Fries and Cheese Nachos. On July 1 the Lions and the Leos will take part in the Canada Day festivities and several of our members will be in the parade. We will be serving our famous Italian sausages with Fried onions and Green peppers. Our Beaver tails will also be on the menu that day. This will also take place on 13th Avenue and starts at 12:00. There will be plenty of entertainment. Come and support this event.
New members are always welcome and if you would like to serve your community, and learn more about how we operate and work together, you are welcome to attend one of our meetings. Fees are very reasonable and affordable to all. Just call any one of the Lion members and let them know that you are interested to learn more about Lionism. We have increased our membership in the past year and we have now 32 members and are growing.
.A Leos club has been formed in Deux Montagnes which is a Lions club for both boys and girls between the ages of 12-23. If you like to serve your community and are interested in joining send an E-mail to Karen Burrell at karen@the-cancer-store.com or phone her at 450-473-3783.
